Publicity on the Third Batch of Expert Committee of CMR Industry Alliance

In accordance with the Articles of Association of Expert Committee of China Mobile Robot (AGV/AMR) Industry Alliance and Management Methods of Expert Committee of China Mobile Robot (AGV/AMR) Industry Alliance, CMR Industry Alliance reviews application documents submitted by experts who are recommended by their working organizations or by themselves and, makes a decision through discussion as follows: 11 people who are selected for experts of the third batch of the Expert Committee.

The publicity of these experts is open to the public now and the publicity period will last 5 working days. In case of any objection arising in the publicity period will be submitted to the Secretariat of Standard Management Committee of CMR Industry Alliance.

Song Zhiwei: one member of Expert Committee:

• Globally well-known expert in robotics and autonomous driving. He has engaged in the R&D of Robots since 1999, has won the Champion of the 1^stRobo Cup Competition in China, the second in Humanoid Robot of International Robot World Cup Competition, the third in Logistics Robot and the Fourth in Industrial Robot.

Dr. Song played a leading role in the design and development of the first L4 unmanned driving vehicle in Singapore. In October 2015, Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong took the first automatic driving vehicle developed by this team on open public roads at night to experience automatic driving. In order to honor Dr. Song’s distinguished performance in automatic driving team, ASTAR and Ministry of Industry and Trade awarded Dr. Song the 2016 Borderless Award.

• 2016 Singapore Ministry of Industry and Trade2016 Borderless Award: Tested automatic driving vehicle successfully on open roads in Singapore;
• 2016ASTAR Borderless Award: Developed the first automatic driving vehicle on open roads in Singapore;
• The fourth in Industrial Robot Competition of 2013 Robot World cup;
• The second in Large Scale Team of HumanoidRobot Competition of 2013 Robot World cup;
• Publish several papers on IEEE journals; Patent “SIGNAL LIGHT DETECTION” getsauthorization in Singapore, USA, WIPO; obtain several authorized invention patents in China.
